Lead Pastor Matt Chapirson
Pastor Matt became the Lead Pastor of Rhapsody Church in January 2019, after the founding pastors, Brandon and Joy Berg, accepted an assignment to pastor in Eugene, Oregon. Pastor Matt’s journey to becoming Lead Pastor of Rhapsody has been beautiful and exciting. Looking back, it would seem that God was directing Matt and his family into this position at Rhapsody with clear evidence, even from Matt’s original call into ministry. Matt’s passion is to see the people of Rhapsody find belonging, purpose and connection and a greater passion to work for the wholeness of Clark County.
Prior to accepting this position, Matt had over 17 years of pastoring experience. He and his wife Sara have been married for 17 years and have two beautiful children, Abigail and Elijah. When he is not pastoring, Matt enjoys writing (especially with his daughter), WWE (with his son), and drumming. He is also the co-owner of Form 7 Productions, a video production company.
